Why is family guy still on TV, how has it not been banned?

Now i don't really care, I've watched it a few times myself.

I'm just curious as to how a show that degrades blacks, Mexicans, and
women, and even people with disabilities, can still be on the air. The
show even makes holocaust jokes and dead baby jokes, and it even jokes
around about serious murders that took place in the past. I don't
really see how that's acceptable for public television. Does a
"viewers discretion" warning really make it acceptable? I even saw one
episode where a Vietnamese character made fun of soldiers that died in
the war in Vietnam.

Now I'm not saying I'm fine with it, and I'm not saying I'm not fine
with it.
I'm just looking for some opinions here.
