VIDEO: Daniel Radcliffe Reprises Harry Potter Role for SNL But It's Not Pretty
Saturday Night Live, Lana Del Rey, Daniel Radcliffe and Kenan Thompson Daniel Radcliffe hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time, fresh off his Broadway role in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. But as you might expect, it was his longest-running role, as Harry Potter, that was the night's hot topic. Despite the character's massive worldwide following, Radcliffe was quick to dismiss doing any Harry Potter sketches. "No one wants to see Dumbledore working at Harry Pottery Barn. And, if we can, let's not do Harry Pothead." The worst idea? Jersey Shore Hogwarts! "How lazy can you get?!": Watch more videos from Saturday Night Live Despite his protests, Radcliffe indeed reprised his role as the boy who lived, following in the SNL footsteps of Bill Hader, Hugh Jackman and - most memorably - Rachel Dratch. The sketch tells the depressing epilogue of Harry Potter's life after killing Voldermort. So what's he been up to? Playing quidditch alone, wandering around Hogwarts 10 years after he graduated (no, he doesn't teach there), buying a Volvo and doing an autograph tour to help pay off his mortgage. Apparently, Potter peaked early: Radcliffe showed off his Great White Way dancing skills playing a YouTube sensation (or is he?) named Brad, who combined his two life passions - Irish dancing and Chinese caliography - for a sketch called "You Can Do Anything":
